1. Who are the builders in Heartland, and what is the price range of homes?
We have homes by D.R. Horton, J. Houston and History Maker. Homes will be priced from the $100s to $200s, depending on phase and community location.
2. How much are the Homeowners Association Dues?
For single-family homes, the annual rate is $32.50/month or $390/year, billed semi-annually which covers: access to the private swim club and enforcement of restrictions to protect property values.
3. Who are the utility providers at Heartland?
Water and sewer will be provided by Kaufman MUDs 9-12 & 14.
Cable and high-speed Internet access is made available by AT& T U-Verse.
Electric is provided through Trinity Valley Electric Company.
Phone service, local and long distance, is provided by AT&T.
4. How long before Heartland is completely built out?
Heartland is expected to be built out in 15 years.
5. What is the Heartland Education Foundation?
The Heartland Education Foundation is a non-profit foundation funded by a ½ of 1 percent on the transfer of all real property within the community. This applies to residential property sales.
6. What is the MUD tax rate in Heartland?
It is $1.00 per one hundred dollars of assessed home value.
